"Spilt Milk: A Collection of Stories" by D.K. Cassidy manages to take even the tiniest snippets and moments of life and present them in a thoughtful and thought-provoking manner. Some moments are more than just spilt milk, there is variety in this book. Yet, there is a unique style of darkness around them that is instantly identifiable and makes the selection a unit; one character even re-appears in a different story.
Not always able to get into short stories, I was rather impressed with this.
